The annual Christmas Barn Sale Trail, located at the very Southern tip of Illinois in the charming town of Metropolis, (yes it's the Home of Superman). Metropolis is a destination for all ages especially at Christmas time!

It all started 7 years ago, when we attended a couple of "barn sales" in our community, one a Friday evening, then another barn had a barn sale the next morning. What a wonderful experience we had! We thought why not host a "Barn Sale Trail" get everyone doing barn sales on the same weekend/days and make a community event out of it!
The following year we contacted some barns that we knew hosted some sales and asked if they would like to get a barn sale trail going. The Christmas Barn Sale Trail was born! What started out with 3 Barns, 6 years ago has now evolved into 10 Barns & keeps growing each and every year! Oh, did I mention that all barns are within 7 miles of each other!
